Walk-in counselling clinics provide counseling services, without a need to book a long time in advance. They can be helpful for many issues such as family conflict, stress, grief, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, separation, divroce or abuse. Most of the time, no appointment is required, though some clinics may require you to call ahead the same day to book appointments for that day.

Counselling involves meeting with a counselor over a set period of time that is set together between the individual and counsellor to work on a specific problem or concern. Toronto Rape Crisis Centre: 416-597-8808 is a grassroots collective working towards a violence-free world by providing anti-oppressive, feminist peer support to survivors of sexual violence through support, education and activism. Callers can be anyone who has been raped, sexually assaulted or abused, women who have had unwanted sexual touching, incest survivors and friends or family.
The Associate Gambling Counsellor (AGC). Applicants must have a degree in counselling (e.g. MSW), a minimum of 30 hours of gambling specific training which meets the Core Competencies and 20 hours work experience in direct counselling, either volunteer or paid hours, at a recognized treatment facility. As an alternative to the degree in counselling, certification as an Addiction Counsellor.
